Mission Statement of Walkon Crafters Our mission statement is simple to improve the lives of the hundreds of amputees and those affected by limb loss in the Norwich, Norfolk area. We accomplish this by providing the amputee population with the highest quality most comtempory educational and informative resources available we believe by educating, empowering and enabling the amputee population we will improve the rehibilitation progress as well as the quality of life of our membership, their carers, family and freinds. We also aimto maintain a Walkon Crafters Web site and keep the public upto date with News, Group progress and forthcomming events and promotions.
The begining Following My Amputation (Read my story further on) In the first instance in Hospital, although I had quickly accepted my loss, I found others around the ward were either not copeing or were there for other reasons, so did not wholely understand, Entering re-hab Helped me personally as here I was with other Amputees, Who were Starting thier Limbless journey and Knew how I was feeling and understood my phantom pain! and more.... I sort A local group and found there WAS one, unfortunatly the Chairman had passed on, and after a year, no one could be contacted or knew what was going on with the group. Given this and having previouse involvement with a National Charity. I have decided to start - Walkon Crafters.
